Tenant Referral Scheme – Terms and conditions

(1)   Eligibility

1.1 The Referrer (the person making the referral) must be 18 years of age or older at the time of submission.

1.2 The Referrer must hold a valid UK bank account in their own name to receive the £100 reward.

1.3 The Referred Person (the person being referred) must also be 18 years of age or older to be eligible to sign a tenancy agreement.

(2)   Valid Referral

A referral is considered valid only if the Referred Person:

2.1 Passes all standard eligibility, referencing, and affordability checks required by the landlord or letting agent.

2.2 Signs a minimum 6-month Assured Shorthold Tenancy (AST) with the landlord or letting agent.

2.3 Has not already made contact or applied for tenancy with the landlord or letting agent prior to the referral submission.

(3)   Reward Payment

The Referrer will receive a £100 payment once:

3.1 The Referred Person has signed the tenancy agreement,

3.2 Paid all required deposits and initial rent, and

3.3 Occupied the property for a minimum of 30 days.

3.4 Payment will be made by bank transfer to a UK bank account only within 14 days of meeting the above conditions.

3.5 The reward is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for other benefits.

(4)   Limits & Exclusions

4.1 The Referrer cannot refer themselves.

4.2 Only one reward will be paid per successful tenancy, regardless of how many people refer the same tenant.

4.3 The scheme does not apply to existing tenants moving between properties owned by the same landlord, or to company lets.

4.4 The landlord/letting agent reserves the right to reject referrals or withdraw the scheme at any time without notice.

(5)   Data Protection

5.1 By submitting a referral, the Referrer confirms that the Referred Person has given consent for their personal details to be shared for the purpose of contact regarding tenancy.

5.2 All personal data will be handled in accordance with GDPR and the company’s privacy policy.

(6)   Agreement

6.1 By participating in this scheme, the Referrer agrees to these Terms & Conditions and confirms they meet the eligibility criteria.
